Join Dr Kathy Sullivan, NASA astronaut and oceanographer, for a fascinating night uncovering her incredible career.
During a career spanning the heights of space to the bottom of the sea, Dr Kathy Sullivan was the first American woman to walk in space and the first woman to visit the deepest spot in the ocean.
Kathy will talk about her time as a crew member on three Space Shuttle missions, her role in deploying the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as her dive to the Challenger Deep.
As an advisor to Joe Biden on President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, Kathy continued her outstanding contribution to the world of science.
The event is followed by a book signing, with the opportunity to purchase Kathy’s book Handprints on Hubble – An Astronaut’s Story of Invention and have it signed by the author.
