Join veterinary Prof Andrew Gardiner and cairn terrier Annie for a creaturely walk exploring the history of veterinary education in Edinburgh.

Learn about the links between human and veterinary medicine and discover how history influences veterinary education today. The 2km walk around central Edinburgh’s veterinary landmarks starts at the Scottish Parliament public entrance and finishes at Summerhall. It includes a visit to All4Paws, the student-run veterinary outreach clinic on Nicolson Street.

The walk includes hills, steps and some rougher ground.
